The central student health team works with all schools and preschools in Mölndal and consists of 10 employees led by a unit manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Your mission is to support students' development, learning, and health. You will do this through preventive and health-promoting measures and by contributing to the development of communicatively accessible learning environments and supporting operations with language-developing approaches.
In your role, you will contribute with speech therapy expertise in communication and AAC, language, speech, reading, and writing skills, as well as digital learning tools, for example, through training and guidance to staff.
As a centrally employed school speech therapist, you will have a shared mission in adapted primary school and primary school, including at the city's newly established resource school.
You will be part of the student health team in the operations and work on behalf of the principals in each operation.
Through regular professional meetings, you will also collaborate with the central school speech therapist.
Your responsibilities include:
- Professional development for staff.
- Guidance and consultation.
- Observation and model guidance.
- To be responsible for the operation's work with the guarantee of early support measures together with a special educator in adapted primary school.
- To support the operations' work with the implementation of evidence-based methods and systematic work with students' language, reading, and writing development.
- Cross-professional collaboration with other professions in student health, principals, and teachers.
- Support staff in the work with prescribed communication aids.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed speech therapist with experience in speech therapy interventions in schools. It is an advantage if you have experience in adapted primary schools, students with intellectual disabilities, or work in resource schools. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
You need to have:
- Good knowledge of AAC, including sign language and communication aids
- Good knowledge of digital learning tools and interest in digital development work
- Good ability to initiate, plan, and conduct training and meetings
- Experience in initiating and leading health-promoting and preventive measures at group and organizational levels
- Good collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
